No. Focused Shockwave Therapy is painless. You may feel a light tapping sensation, but no anesthetic is required, and you can return to your daily activities immediately.
Many of the treatments we offer are covered under OHIP, however, some of the more advanced technologies are not covered. Our team can work with you to find a fit that suits your needs and budget. Many private insurance plans with Health Spending Accounts (HSA) or wellness allowances may cover a portion of the cost. We provide detailed receipts for all services.
The majority of our men’s health consults are covered under OHIP. We require a referral from your family physician for these consultations to be covered
Some of our services are not covered under OHIP and therefore patients can self-refer. These services include (shockwave, HIFEM, Red light therapy, cosmetic procedures and comprehensive consults). For these services a referral is not needed, however a small fee for the consultation will apply, which is reimbursed if you decide to move forward with treatment.
